On Thursday, Oct. 29 at approximately 2 a.m. Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Brian Huckabee along with Deputy Jacob Sumrall conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Hwy 334 located in Gun Barrel City. The operator of the vehicle who was identified as Antonio Hernandez was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and quantity of suspected methamphetamine. Hernandez’s passenger identified as Robert Russell had two outstanding warrants for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Henderson County Jail and booked in.
