Trinidad Police Department press release
On Friday, May 6, at 4:30 p.m. the D&M Tire Shop on State Highway 31 was robbed at gunpoint by three black males. During the robbery, one of the victims struggled with one of the suspects, resulting in a shot being fired.
All victims were treated at the scene by East Texas Medical EMS.
One of the suspects fled the scene on foot and the rest of the suspects fled in a vehicle.
The vehicle involved was last seen traveling west on State Highway 31.
With the assistance of the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, one suspect was apprehended and later booked into the Henderson County Jail.
