On March 31, at approximately 12:15 p.m., Investigator Kendell Wellman conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violation on Hwy. 19 north of Athens. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Ronnie Templin. Investigator Wellman conducted a search of Templin’s vehicle which led to the discovery of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine. Templin was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Henderson County Jail. Templin was released from jail the following day after posting a $4,500 bond.
