Henderson County Now was graciously permitted to tour the old Memorial Hospital in Athens Monday morning. Thank you to property caretaker Raymond Neal, Jr. for all of his help and kindness.
Last week, The Athens Substandard Building Commission unanimously issued an order to have the old Henderson County Memorial Hospital demolished.
Monday, multiple demolition companies visited the property although there has been no official word of the owner’s intent regarding the demolition order.
