If you’re looking for some “hot” golfing fun at Cedar Creek Lake, look no further than the annual Red Hot “18”, the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce fundraising tournament coming up on July 28 at Cedar Creek Country Club.
The tournament is a four (4) person scramble, with gross/net prizes. Check-in is 7:45 a.m., with a shot-gun start at 8:30 a.m. Price is $70 per player (early bird registration) and $75 per player the day of. The price includes a light breakfast, golf, cart and lunch. Up to 2 Mulligans per player will be available for $5 each. Single players are welcome and will be matched with a team.
Featured events for the day will include Hole in One Contest-sponsored by Tri-County Ford, Buy-a-Drive $20 per team, Buy-a-Spot on the Green $20 per team. New for 2014 is a Chipping Contest (3 balls/player $20/team or $5/player). The Red Hot “18” committee is also pleased to announce that Dixon Golf https://www.dixongolf.com/home.php) will be on hand for the first time this year, offering many new and fun incentives, give-aways and surprises.
For those of you bringing amateurs and new comers alike, there will be crash courses to take advantage of anyone who takes them will become a fast learner in the game and it would not be surprising to find them in the competition in the near future.
There are sponsorships still available for as little as $100 for a Hole Sponsorship.
