The Color of Ideas Community Arts Center (TCOI), located just off the Square in Athens at 207 E. Tyler, announces that as of December 31, TCOI will be closed permanently. TCOI Director Carolyn Ellis explained that the financial backing to keep TCOI open has collapsed, making closure a necessity.
Lots of furniture (chairs of all kinds, a vintage coffee table, three different wooden tables, two dressers), a large, substantial wooden doll house, a number of musical instruments, including a new Hohner Accordion (Panther model) and a Kimball organ, which is free, as well as much more, are all now for sale.
