“Steak and Donuts,” the second of four professional shows at Henderson County Performing Arts Center runs Nov. 14-16. Forty percent of the net profits from the show is returned to HCPAC by the producer, Flower and Bone Productions.
“Steak and Donuts” is written and performed by Anna Hammonds of Nashville, Tenn. On a lonely Friday night, one woman confesses her story of long-lost love. Through the confectionary whims of a first love to the ultimate meaty quest for true happiness, she reveals the secret for mending a broken heart. From heartwarming stories of bar fights, child rearing, music-making and everything in between, “Steak and Donuts” is a play about healing. And food.
