Cedar Creek Amateur Radio Club Reaches Out

CCLARC-award-1At the recent Mabank Jubilee, the Cedar Creek Amateur Radio Club booth featured a working ham radio station. The club challenged its members to make as many short wave radio contacts as possible to compete for a prize. At the end of the day, members had contacted 30 states and one Canadian province. Here, club president Ed Busch (left) is presenting Bob Allen with a Chili’s gift card for his winning entry, 12 contacts. For more information on the club, visit www.k5ccl.org. (Courtesy Photo)
