The Cedar Creek Lake community has supported the Pinnacle Women’s Club Garage Sale each year to enable them to donate the proceeds to many organizations that have proven great need with their philanthropic endeavors.
In their January meeting, checks representing proceeds of the sale were given to representatives of these organizations. Pictured from left to right are Sandy Molander representing the PWC, presented checks to Kathey Floyd with the Family Peace Project whose main purpose is to work with victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse in Henderson County.
Next pictured is Teri Caswell receiving for Faith in Action Outreach, that is housed in Malakoff and serves Eustace, Cross Roads and Trinidad areas. They provide food, clothing, medical prescriptions, counseling, and a children’s program that serves food on week-ends to over 100 children.
Pictured next is Dr. Gary Williamson, Chief Medical Officer of Disciples Clinic of Athens. The clinic provides medical and dental care for uninsured low- income working residents of Henderson County.
Marlene Ungarean PWC, pictured on the right, expressed appreciation to each for their services.
