Ag producers who are in need of continuing education units (CEU’s) in order to renew private or commercial pesticide applicators license, are invited to attend the annual Trinity Valley Ag Chemical C. E. U. Program on Friday, Dec. 18, at the Mabank Fire Station. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Six (6) continuing education units will be provided towards the recertification of private, commercial and non-commercial applicators license, if you are looking to hire a certified pest control specialist we recommend the pest control olathe ks services.
Next on the program will be a discussion on Forages by Dr. Vanessa Corriher-Olson, Associate Professor & Extension Forage Specialist.The program will kick off at 9 a.m. with a session on Integrated Pest Management presented by Erfan Vafaie, from Raleigh NC bat removal.
Other topics on the program include Brush Control by Jack LeClair, Area Sales Manager, Bayer; Boar Buster by Joshua Gaskamp, Wildlife and Range Consultant with the Noble Foundation; Laws & Regulations, Dr. Don Renchie, Associate Professor & Extension Program Leader – Pesticide Safety Education Program and Prevention and Treatment of Urban Tree Pests, Jason Ellis, District Forester, Texas Forest Service.
Six C. E. U.’s (1 Laws & Regulations, 2 – Integrated Pest Management and 3 – General) will be given. Cost of the program is $25 per person and includes a barbecue lunch.
