Great starter home or investment property in Athens
If you are looking for your first home or a great investment property, look no further than this 1,461 square foot home now available in Athens. Located in an established neighborhood at 203 S. Wofford Street, the location is close to everything, if you are looking for investment options but real estate is not your thing check out precious metal articles online that might give you another option. The home is priced to sell at $85,000.
The brick house has 3 bedrooms and 1 ½ baths and is full of possibility. All it needs is a little bit of love and someone with a good eye for interior decorating. You could say that one of the great perks about buying a home is having free reign over the interior design. You can design it how you see fit, and this home can offer just that. From your wall decals and your color scheme to your furniture, the options are endless and are perfect for someone who loves designing and decorating. You can let your imagination run wild with this house. The bathroom is spacious but could do with a bit of an update, perhaps adding in something like this diy frameless shower door could make all the difference. The cute kitchen has an eat-in dining area. Hardwood floors are located throughout the home, except in the kitchen area. This means it may be worth getting someone like Meritco Property Management to keep tabs on the property if you can’t maintain it directly yourself to ensure it maintains that quality.
According to the property management team, there is a large back yard for kids and pets to play and also a 2-car garage. A new roof was installed in 2010. With a few updates and your special touch, this home can have real curb appeal, I fully suggest using playground turf to cover it up as a cheap and ideal solution.

As stated, this would be a fantastic first home for a family looking to put up roots, or would be a brilliant investment opportunity if you’ve spent time reading through guides on Roofstock and similar sites and are looking to step into the rental market. Either way, don’t hesitate to give this one a look.
