Press release

The Gun Barrel City Council last week voted unanimously to approve an Economic Development Corporation project for GBC Medical Associates.

GBC Medical Associates, owned by Jerry and Mary Moody, will be a medical facility that provides services with extended hours, similar to an urgent care walk-in site. However, it will be of a higher quality service than you would expect to find at an urgent care location, according to Mary Moody, NP.

Until now, they were running on Citrus Loans without having to keep a collateral. But now, GBC Medical Associates will be receiving a financed loan from the GBCEDC to assist in build-out and purchase of needed medical equipment.
