County under a Flood Warning

There is a Flood Warning for Henderson County until 11 p.m. tonight.

The National Weather Service says, “Several roads remain flooded across the county and are therefore closed after heavy rainfall affected the area over the past 30 areas. Up to 10 inches of rain fell across much of the county and is still causing flooding of creeks, streams, rivers and other low lying areas. Water will continue to runoff this evening. Rainfall has tapered off but additional amounts of a half inch to 1 inch are possible through tonight.”
