Services for Willadean Hooper, 85, of Eustace are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday May 6, 2013 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Bro. Steve Glosup and Bro. David Harkins officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Baker Cemetery, Henderson County.
She passed away May 3, 2013 in Plano.
Mrs. Hooper was born June 21, 1927 in Walnut Springs to Robert Candler and Edna Davis Pennington.
Willadean was Baptist by faith and a member of the China Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing lead steel guitar. She was a great cook and she took great pride in her yard and flower beds. She was married 48 years to her husband, Clyde before his death in 1995.
Surviving are son, Mick Hooper of Arlington; brother, Bob and Hazel Pennington of Canton; brother, R. C. Pennington, Jr. of Canton; grandson, William Travis and Leisa Hooper of Grand Rapids, Mich.; granddaughter, Tracy White of Graham; five great-grandchildren, Cassie, Christian, Caitlyn Riley and Taylor.
Willadean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Clyde Hooper; sister-in-law, Billie Ann Pennington; sister, Wilma Gean Pennington.
Family will receive friends Monday 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home.
