Vivien Marie Kirby Hampton of Austin, Texas died on April 14, 2015 at the age of 92. She was born February 1, 1923 in Malakoff, Texas. Daughter of Leroy and Ellen Kirby. Vivien was preceded in death by her husband, General Wade Hampton, Jr.
She will be remembered as a wonderful cook who loved to entertain and provide food and care for others.
Survivors are her sister. Lynn Kirby Reese of Malakoff, daughter Amy Ellen Holkesvik/husband Rolfe and son Gary Wade Hampton/wife Victoria, grandchildren Morgan Holkesvik, James Sharman, Stephanie Sharman, Christopher Sharman, Christina Rioux, and Alexandria Hampton-Hogue, great grandchildren Megan Rioux, Stephen Rioux, Michael Sharman, Jacob Sharman, Kendal Hogue, Izzie Sharman and Landrie Hogue.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 2 p.m. at the Malakoff Cemetary
