A memorial service for Virgie Savage, 83, of Malakoff is scheduled for noon Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Malakoff Community Center. Mrs. Savage passed away May 30, 2015 in Tyler.
She was born May 28, 1932 to Jason and Anna Bell Barnette Featherston.
Virgie was a lifelong resident of Malakoff and spent her life helping others. She had been a “mother” to many.
Survivors include her husband Jerry Savage,children Jason Savage and Teresa Spergeon; grandchildren Megan and Jessica Savage.
