Graveside services for Texie Ann Barton, 60, Kaufman, formerly of Athens are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday in Oaklawn Memorial Park under the direction of Carroll –Lehr Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barton died March 26, 2013 in Kaufman.
She was born April 4, 1952 in Fredericksburg to the late Lloyd Lawrence and Dorothy Mae Parker Carter. She resided in Athens 1981 to 2007. She and her late husband Reuben Barton owned and operated Barton’s Kidd Jones Convenience store in Seven Points 18 years.
She was preceded in death by a sister Linda Lee Carter.
Survivors include son Bobby Burchfield and wife Misty, Kaufman; daughter Brandi Burchfield, Athens; grandchildren Britney Burchfield and Mason Burchfield.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
