Mike Trevino was born Jan. 10, 1961 in Edinburg, Texas the son of Raul Trevino SR. and Anita Rosales Trevino. He was very active and loved music, playing instruments, spending time at the kid’s activities, and being involved in the band boosters. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved animals and was on the Henderson County Horse Committee. Mike received an Award of Excellence from GM along with the honor of Top Gun in police academy. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and will be missed by all he knew and loved.
He is preceded in death by his father Raul Trevino Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife Trudy Trevino of Athens; mother, Anita Trevino of Rosenberg; one son, Lance Trevino of Glendale, California; one daughter, Laci Trevino Sarlls and husband Kyle of Dallas; one step son Bandy Dunkelberger and wife Becky of Victoria; two sisters, Margaret Salazar and husband Louis of Halletsville, Gloria Duran of Rosenberg; one brother David Trevino of Rosenberg; three step-grandchildren, Gatlin, Dillon, and Hazelyn Dunkelberger.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
