Graveside services and interment for Martha Luverne Callarman, 86, of Athens are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
A reception will follow at 3 p.m. at Eastern Hills Church of Christ “Kindness Hall”.
Martha passed away Nov. 6, 2014 in Athens.
She was born March 25, 1928 in Nimrod, Eastland County, Texas to David Lucious and Vernie Mary Meadows Allen. Martha was a graduate of Scranton High School and Cisco Junior College. She had been a resident of Athens since 1958 and worked as a pharmacy Tech at East Texas Medical Center Hospital 15 plus years.
She was a member of Eastern Hills Church of Christ and was a loving and caring homemaker.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, sister Lois June Morgan and husband James R. Callarman.
Survivors include sons Ken Callarman and wife LouEllen of Victoria, Max Callarman and wife Kim of Cooper; daughters Connie McGregor and husband Gary of Kaufman, Sherry Smith and husband Mark of Eustace; nine grandchildren, three great granddaughters; brothers in law Louis Morgan, David Callarman, both of Cisco; sister in law Priscilla Callarman of Lewisville, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Eastern Hills Church of Christ “Joy Works” Ministry.
