Obituary: Madge Warren

warrenGraveside services and interment for Madge Warren, 90 of Tyler are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 at Davis Cemetery with Dr. David Warren officiating.

Mrs. Warren passed away Monday in Tyler.

She was born July 28, 1924 in LaRue to the late Clark and Ivey Featherston Moss. Madge graduated from LaPoynor High School in 1942. She was a certified welder in the San Francisco ship yard during World War II. She worked many years for Collin Street Bakery. Madge was a member of Mimosa Lane Baptist Church in Mesquite. She loved gardening and tending her flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years H. B. Warren of Tyler; son Joe Warren and wife Annette of Holly Lake Ranch; grandson Dr. David Warren and wife Hayley of Seymour; granddaughter Dee Warren Cartwright and husband Spencer of Littleton, Colorado; great grandsons Caden and Luke Warren of Seymour, Linden and Liam Cartwright of Littleton, Colorado; great granddaughter Reese Warren of Seymour.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wendel Warren, Waymond Warren, Mike Mitchell, Bruce Mitchell, Bob Loe, Dale Bennett, Leon Roundtree, Crandel Davis.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 420 N Washington Street, Seymour, Texas 76380.
