Funeral services for Lucy Crawford, 73, of LaRue are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens, Texas with Pastor Kevin Willmont officiating. Interment will follow at County Line Cemetery.
Ms. Crawford passed away on October 3, 2014 in Athens, Texas.
Audrey Lucille Crawford was born October 26, 1940 the daughter of T.J. Holland and Audrey Beth Craig Holland. She spent many hours doing arts and crafts and she also enjoyed fishing. She loved her dog-princess Candy but the true loves of her life were her grandchildren. Nana spent her life taking care of her precious family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and will be missed by many family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband John W. Crawford, her parents, a brother John Holland, and a grandson, Joshua Henson.
She is survived by her loving children, Tammy Stephens and husband Bobby of LaRue, Edward Alexander and wife Ellie of Navasota, Rosia Wheeler and husband Jim of LaRue, John Scott of LaRue, Beth Wimberly and husband Wylie of LaRue; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, October 6, 2014.
Pallbearers will be Royce Crawford, Randy Crawford, Delbert Crawford, Tommy Hilton, Tony Hilton and Randy Pierce.
