Services for Kathy Hair, 59, of Eustace are scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, in First Baptist Church in Eustace with Rev. Larry Venable officiating.
Burial will follow in Moorehead Melton Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hair passed away September 4, 2014 in a McKinney Hospital.
She was born June 5, 1955 in Oakland, California to Jesse Wayne and Mabel Louise Ashcraft Carlock. Kathy resided in Garland 32 years where she graduated from Garland High School in 1973. She was an administrative assistant for 15 years with Corona Designs in Royce City. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Athens.
Survivors include her companion John D. Freeman, Jr., Eustace; son Greg Hair and fiancé Kara Smith, Athens; daughter Jennifer Halbert and husband Ronny, LaRue; mother Mabel Carlock, Garland; brother Mike Carlock, Farmersville; grandchildren McKenzie and Madison Hair, Jacob and Colton Halbert, Natalie and Grayson Freeman, Piper L. Bruns, father of the children, Danny Hair, Athens.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5:30 to 7:00 P M Monday at the funeral home.

So very sorry to hear of this. Kathy was a friend and client for many, many years…she will be missed.
Kathy was a kind woman that I remember fondly when I think of my daughter’s Hollie Canalito Hutchens and the year she spent as Henderson County Livestock Show Princess. Jennifer served as Queen that year. She was always cheerful and supportive. God Bless you Jennifer and Greg and your family as you navigate this very difficult and painful time.
