Services for Jerry Lee Norvell, 66 of Murchison are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2015 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with Pastor Matt Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery.

He was born June 2, 1948 in Dallas to Travis Lee and Martha Roberta Hill Norvell. Jerry graduated high school in Dallas. He did two tours in Vietnam while in the Marine Corp. Jerry was co-owner of Tina’s Hair Affair and Paradise Scented Candles.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Patricia Norvell Shaunfield, daughter Karen Rene Norvell.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years Brenda Kay Norvell, sons Jerry Norvell, Jr. of Brownsboro, Freddie James Norvell and wife Dee of Gun Barrel City, grandchildren Colton James Norvell of Murchison, Jimmy Dale Ray Carnley of Gun Barrell, sister Janice Elkins of Lancaster and Uncle N. G. (Happy) Norvell and wife Mary Lou of Whitney.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Climer, Hershel Climer, Jerry Climer, Ricky Climer, Oren Odell, Keith Stringer, Parker Stringer.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5:30-7:30 P M Thursday at the funeral home.
