Jason was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Some of his best memories were being outside with his family. He was a proud coach of his son’s ball teams as well as a loyal Aggie. He completed his time at A&M with a degree in Economics. Two of his favorite places on earth were the beach house where the family would gather to spend time together and of course the family farm of which he was so proud. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Athens. One of the truly great honors of Jason’s life was working alongside his dad at the accounting practice, serving clients that he regarded as close friends. Jason loved his family more than anything else. His wife Jennifer and his two boys were his whole world. During Jason’s 4-year battle with cancer he was always positive and kept his family in awe of his strength and ability to remain positive for those around him.
Jason is survived by his wife of 16 years and love of his life, Jennifer Darby Lambright; their two sons: Jaxon Lambright and Steele Lambright; parents: J.W. and Cheryl Lambright; Sister, Chera Lambright; Parents-in-law: Don and Patricia Darby; sisters-in-law: Lauren Jacobs and husband Josh, Kelly Carby; niece, Sydney Snyder; aunts and uncles: Randy and Ginger Lambright, Larry Chipley, Sandra and Chuck Kellogg; cousins: Josh Lambright, Jenny Conditt and husband Charlie, Jacob Kellogg.
