Graveside services for Jamie Daniel Logan, 39, of Cross Roads are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Rome Cemetery with Bro. Gene Bishop and Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating.
Mr. Logan passed away due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Athens.
Jamie Daniel Logan was born May 20, 1974 in Athens, the son of James Alford Logan and Brenda Dean Trammell Logan. He was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on cars, hunting and being outdoors. He loved his children and his family. He was a loving father, son and brother and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jamie was preceded in death by one son, Jacob Logan; his paternal grandparents, Edgar and Lenora Logan; and his maternal
grandparents, Toby and Ruby Trammell.
He is survived by his parents, James and Brenda Trammell Logan of Cross Roads; the mother of his beloved children, Amy Logan of Caddo Mills, Texas; two sons, Toby Logan Presley of Portland, Texas, J.D. Logan of Caddo Mills, Texas; two daughters, Danielle Bishop and Hannah Logan of Caddo Mills, Texas; one brother, Jason and wife Candice Logan of Cross Roads; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryant Logan, John Trammell, Toby Logan Presley, J.T. Trammell, Tommy Asher and Jason Chambers. Honorary pallbearers will be J.D. Logan and Mason Logan.
Jamie Logan is also survived by the mother of his oldest daughter Penelope Benton Logan Yates and daughter Kathleen Nicole Logan Yates.
