Jean Fowler of Murchison (most recently a resident of Austin) passed away Wednesday morning at her home in Austin with her family at her bedside.
A celebration of life service in her honor will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Murchison. Officiating will be Jody Fowler, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Webb City, MO, and Curtis Chandler, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Murchison.
Interment will follow at the Red Hill Cemetery.
A viewing and family time will be held Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Murchison.
“Mina” touched countless lives of all ages through her beautiful life of selfless love. She was adored by her children, grandchildren and family, treasured by her friends and delightfully blessed by all whose lives she touched. She was a true gift from God. Her entire family arises to call her blessed.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Dan Fowler, parents Tommie and Josie Brown and brother Thomas Brown.
Surviving family members include her son, Jody Fowler and his wife Patsy of Webb City, MO; three daughters: Donna Clayton and husband Charles of Brownsboro; Denise Goines, husband Donald of Murchison; and D’Anna Klein and husband Don of Austin. Eleven grandchildren: Christy Hudson, husband Paul; Joe Bart Fowler, wife Heather; Stephanie Goldy, husband Michael; Charles Ray Clayton, wife Amy; Jennifer Goines; Donnie Goines, Shelby, and Nicolas Preston; Colton, Averi, Tara and Morgan Klein. 10 Great Grandchildren: Ben, Emilee and Samantha Goldy; Bolen Ray and Olivia Clayton; Mallory Fowler; Liam Hawkes; PJ, Savannah and Aubrey Hudson.
