Graveside services for Hazel Barnett, 90, of San Antonio, formerly of Malakoff, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens, Texas.
Ms. Barnett passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas.
Hazel Nell Howard Barnett was born November 23, 1924 in Corsicana, Texas the daughter of Thomas Benton Howard and Allie Frances Adair Howard in Corsicana, Texas. She enjoyed reading, cooking and especially crossword puzzles. Hazel loved spending time with her family; was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all she knew and loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clifton Hoyle Barnett Sr. and her brother Nolan Howard.
Hazel is survived by her two children, Jeanne Gillespie and husband Larry of Tucson, Arizona, Clifton H. Barnett Jr. and wife Rosanna of San Antonio; an adopted daughter Deb Neill of Malakoff; sister in law Joann Mullins of Tucson, Arizona and a granddaughter Rachel Barnett of San Antonio.
