Funeral services for Donna Sue Cissell of Athens are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Dogwood Church. Burial will follow in Athens Cemetery.
Donna would like you all to know her fight with cancer, a steadfast prayer warrior for friends, family and anyone she ever met here on this earth has come to an end. Donna went home to be with her Father in Heaven April 30, 2015.
To say that Donna only had six children would discount the countless number of children that called her mom. Her passion was her family and on a beautiful sunny day, you could probably find her fishing barefoot. As a devoted wife of 54 years to Billy Cissell, a loving mother to many, grandmother and great grandmother, we are very blessed to have had her in our lives.
Visitation for family and friends will be at 12-1 p.m., May 5, 2015 at the church.
