Callie Frances Tidmore Fulgham, a very loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away April 14, 2018 at the age of 92 at her home in Star Harbor.
Visitation will be held at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home on Tuesday evening April 17, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens at noon Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
Frances was born August 6, 1925 in Jayton, Texas to the late Howell and Johnnie Tidmore. She graduated from Brownsboro High School in 1942 and attended Henderson County Community College. On August 30, 1947, she married the love of her life, Gwin M. Fulgham, and went on to raise five children. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Garden Club, the Book Club-Ex Libres of Star Harbor, the Literary Society of Athens, and the Dinner Club, Red Hat Society, and over the years numerous church committees. She enjoyed traveling, including RVing with friends and family, as well as flying or sailing to various countries around the world.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Fulgham, Gwin Hunter, Kimela Rich, Stephanie Hall, Brent Fulgham, Jeff Fulgham, Donnie Lewis, Charlie Tidmore.
Honorary pallbearers are Bill Kerlee, Don Hughes, Grady Phillips, Don Murphey and Paul Sharrock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Gwin Fulgham; her son, Stephen Fulgham; her daughter Deborah Wolfe; her granddaughter Frances Ruth Fulgham, her parents, and 8 siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Fulgham and Rodney Roberts of Little Rock, Arkansas; son, Stanley Fulgham and wife Carol of Ft. Worth, Texas; son Kevin Fulgham and wife Margaret of Athens; sister, Maxie Barton of Athens, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, all of whom will miss her each and every day.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mrs. Fulgham’s name to a charity of your choice.
