Anne Vessels, 71, was born on November 10, 1946 to James and Gladys Munns in Denison, Texas. Anne passed away peacefully on March 17.
Anne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who also loved her animals. She was a longtime resident of Payne Springs and a devoted member of the Payne Springs United Methodist Church. Anne was a talented seamstress who enjoyed needlepoint and quilting.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys Munns, and sisters June and Wanita. Survivors include husband, Richard Vessels; her 3 children, Rachael Gunstanson and husband, Michael; Heather Cicirello and wife, Leah; and Jennifer Dean and husband, Cameron; grandchildren, Colten and Blake Gunstanson; Aidan, Liam, and Mackenzie Dean; and her sister, Sally Loebig and husband, Michael.
The family wishes to thank special friends Betty Wilson and Pastor Scott Stewart. Special thanks also go to friends and caregivers at Kemp Care Center and Hospice of East Texas-Tyler.
A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at Payne Springs United Methodist Church located at 9667 TX-198 Mabank, TX. Memorial service officiated by Pastors Roy James and Scott Stewart. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Anne’s life.
