Funeral services for Agnes Hatton, 79 of Murchison are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015 at Opelika Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Fairbanks officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
Agnes passed away August 5, 2015 in Athens.
She was born December 21, 1935 in Rusk County to Robert and Bernice Thompson Grambling. Agnes had been a resident of Murchison 23 years. She was a member of Opelika Baptist Church. She loved reading and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years Freddie D. Hatton of Murchison; sons Victor Hatton of Murchison, Patrick Hatton and wife Lori of Athens and Eric Hatton of Murchison; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brothers Boyd Grambling of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Wilton Grambling of Overton; sister Angie Odom of Tyler and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Victor Alan Hatton, Jr., Rodney Brown, Richard Crawford, Richard Ryan, Jimmy Miles and John Gothard.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2-3 p.m. at the church.
