Trinity Valley Community College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer Johnston as Business Advisor. Johnston replaces Tracy Irby, who recently left to join a business plan writing service.
“Jennifer brings a background providing accounting services to for profits and not-for-profits both as an employee and self-employed individual,” said SBDC Director Mike Ellsberry. “Her research skills will aid more informed business decisions so critical to success in these highly competitive times.”
She will hold office hours in Kaufman and Forney, concentrating her efforts on helping small businesses and entrepreneurs in Rains, Van Zandt and Kaufman counties, if you find yourself to be outside of these areas, you could have a look into CFO consulting instead and see how they may be able to help. However, if you are just starting your business it might be a while before you are looking for a CFO consultant, especially if you are struggling with new aspects of your business. However, you can still do some research into a Small business accountant Melbourne firm or some more local to your area, so you can get an idea of what might be required for your business. While you are looking into that, there are places similar to The Alternative Board TAB that could help to provide assistance to businesses that are struggling, producing a small business advisor that might be able to help turn your business around. When trying to run and operate a small business, there will be times where the owner will struggle to make things work. This can cause problems, but it’s important that the individual makes sure they get relevant support to try and improve business. For example, some business owners might find it effective to contact some digital marketing consultants for help with their marketing strategies. Hopefully, that will allow the business to grow.
The Small Business Development Center is a program of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Texas, and Trinity Valley Community College supplying free and confidential advice for existing and forming small businesses. For appointments, please call 903 675 7403.
