Movie Club kicks off this Thursday in Gun Barrel City

Do you love Movies? What if they are free?

Thursday, May 11, the Silver Screen Movie Club – Cedar Creek Lake will provide just that for folks 55 and older at Hometown Cinemas in Gun Barrel City, and the movie event will continue every second Thursday of each month after that.

The movie for May is “Gifted,” starring Chris Evans. The doors open at 8:15 a.m. and the show begins at 9 a.m.

All that’s necessary to attend the event is to show you are 55 or older and to bring a nonperishable food item for the food pantry.

“It’s a great honor for our law firm to be the official law firm sponsor for the Silver Screen Movie Club – Cedar Creek Lake” said Henderson County attorney Jeff Weinstein. “Our senior citizens are such an important part of our community and this is a great way for us to give them a little something to show how much we care about them.”

In addition to the movie, moviegoers will get free coffee and breakfast plus giveaways from the club’s sponsors.
