The Malakoff branch of First State Bank of Athens was honored Monday night by the Malakoff ISD Board of Trustees for its outstanding support of the students and schools in the district.
“We are grateful for the generosity of First State Bank of Athens in Malakoff and its commitment to help make a real difference for our kids and community,” said Superintendent Randy Perry.
“Julie Armstrong and her team in Malakoff have long given of their time and efforts to make a significant difference for our district.”
“Our students, parents and teachers directly benefit from companies such as this that are willing to stand up for public schools, not just in words but in actions. We applaud these community partners for their participation and hope that this will continue to be a strong relationship for years to come,” Perry said.
