Oct. 29 — Mabank Central Elementary — Fall Festival from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29 at the Mabank City Pavilion. Be ready for ghoulish games, spooky snacks and freaky fun. Wear your costume.

Oct. 29 — City of Tool — Fall Festival from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29 at Tool City Hall. Event is for children ages 12 and under and cost is free. Train rides, cake walk, games, candy, inflatables, hot dogs. For more information, call 903-432-3522.

Oct. 31 – Faith Church of Athens — Trunk or Treat from 5-8 p.m. at the church, located at 901 Mission Ave., Athens.

Oct. 31 — Faith Fellowship Church — Fall Festival from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at the church, located at 5330 US Highway 175 East in Athens. Admission is free. Candy, bounce houses, door prizes, hay ride, game booths, concessions. Visit www.ffcathens.com for more information.

Oct. 31 — Athens Church of God and Athens Nazarene — Fall Festival from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at the church, located at 509 Robbins Road. Family fun, music, hot dogs, sno cones, cotton candy, games, Toys for Tots kickoff (please bring an unused, unwrapped toy for a needy child in the area).

Oct. 31 — FBC Gun Barrel City — Fall Festival from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at the church, located at 522 West Main. This annual event has become a favorite for everyone and is attended by hundreds of families from the surrounding communities. Game booths, cake walk, train ride, hayride, concessions. Free admission. Concessions for sale at a bargain.

Oct. 31 — FBC Malakoff — Fall Festival from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at the church, 220 W. Mitchum in Malakoff, 903-489-0228. Candy, hot dogs, sno cones, popcorn, inflatables, games, trunk or treat. Fun for the whole family.

Oct. 31 — Dogwood Church — Fall Festivall from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at the church, 6467 FM2494, Athens. Family games, fun, candy, cake walk.

Oct. 31 — Lake Athens Baptist — Fall Festival from 5-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at the church, 5151 FM 2495 in Athens. Free games, bounce house, hayrides, food, cake walk, candy, face painting, fellowship and more. Safe fun for the whole family. Facebook event page here.

Nov. 1 — Eastern Hills Church of Christ — Pumpkin Patch from 4:30-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1 at the church, located at 1200 E. Corsicana St. in Athens. Join us as we celebrate the Light of the World this fall. For more information, call 903-675-3975.
