Trinity Valley Lady Cardinals volleyball team gathered to present a check for $232 to Court Appointed Special Advocates for children (CASA) of Trinity Valley. The check represents proceeds from their “Cards for CASA” fundraiser held Sept. 19 in Cardinal Gym.
CASA provides independent, highly trained volunteer advocates for children in the custody of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in Anderson, Cherokee and Henderson Counties, empowering volunteers to advocate for the children’s best interest, to insure that their needs are met, and to secure a permanent, safe, and nurturing home as soon as possible.
