Law enforcement officials from around the county hosted Kids Are Heroes Day at Whatz-Up in Seven Points Friday and Monday.
Kids Are Heroes Day is the culmination of the annual Go Blue campaign to raise awareness about child abuse in Henderson County.
This year, nearly 700 4th graders took part in the event, which was held over two days for the first time.
