A juvenile has been arrested on arson charges, according to the Henderson County Fire Marshal’s Office.
Henderson County Fire Marshal Shane Renberg, along with the Westside Volunteer Fire Department, responded to a structure fire located in the Wildwood Subdivision Wednesday, April 4. After an investigation, the cause of the fire was determined to be arson.
Monday, April 9, a juvenile believed to be responsible for the fire was arrested for the crime and transported to a juvenile facility. The name of the suspect cannot be released.
The charge of Arson of a habitation ( 2nd degree felony) will be filed with the Henderson County Attorney’s Office, which handles all juvenile cases.
