Marie Fator and Ralph Fortner from Hope for Brighter Days came to tour the Family Peace Project’s shelter recently and presented Marlena Taylor with a donation. The funds were used to assist with client shelter transportation and child care for those clients searching for a job, as well as pay the registration and title transfer on a van that the Family Peace Project donated to a client. The Mission of Hope for Brighter Days is to work with domestic violence centers to provide victims of abuse long-term support for physical needs, personal mentoring, in-depth counseling, and education.
“God bless the people and organizations that support the work of the agencies on the front lines,” said Marlena, “without them we would not be able to help as many people as we do.”
