Press release
During spring graduation ceremonies, 53 high school graduates also received degrees or certificates of completion from Trinity Valley Community College. These dual-credit students were simultaneously enrolled in high school and college credit classes designed to prepare them to advance directly to a four-year college or into the workforce.
“Dual credit provides a challenge for students who want it,” said Kelley Townsend, TVCC Director of Dual Credit. “It also shortens the time required to complete an undergraduate degree or certificate, lowering the cost of college, and creates a continuum of learning from high school to college.”
Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and Certificate (Cer) recipients are listed by high school and credential earned.
