Sarah Maples DAR member Nina Hendricks placed 2nd on the State Level for her quilt that she entered in the Daughters of the American Revolution fiber arts contest. She was presented with a certificate at the George Washington Tea by State Regent Pamela Rouse Wright. There are two hundred chapters in the State of Texas so it was a great surprise and an honor to her when she won second place.
