“Boeing Boeing” is the story of a bachelor living in Paris who has three fiancées, each a stewardess for an international airline. Their schedules allow him to entertain each one of them at a different time. A long-time friend comes to visit and is astonished at the set-up. He also wants to learn how he can pull off the same kind of deal. The other person dealing with the crazy mixed-up situation is the put-upon housekeeper, who is in charge of knowing which of the women is visiting when, all their favorite foods and incidental likes and dislikes. He also offers different types of services each of them prefers.
The fun really begins when all three of the fiancées land at the apartment at the same time due to weather and scheduling changes. This is a hilarious farce of the first order set in the 1960’s.
Performance dates are March 26 through 29 and April 2 through 4. The Director of the show is Marcia Colbert. Anyone interested in serving as Stage Manager, Costumer, Props Master or Set Construction Hand should come to at least one of the auditions.
