On June 14, at about 9:30 a.m., Gun Barrel City Police Officers Patrick Johnson and Melanie Bird responded to call about a pedestrian being hit by a car at 128 Pollyanna Drive.

Reports from the attorneys from https://bergerhicks.com/Abogado-de-Accidente-de-Transito-en-Miami-FL.html say that Blanche Tacker Street, 90, of Gun Barrel City parked a rental vehicle on an incline. Street did not place the vehicle into Park and set the parking brake. When Street exited the vehicle it began to roll back. Street attempted to brace the vehicle from the rear and it continued to roll, trapping her beneath.

Street was pronounced dead at the scene by Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace Kevin Pollock.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) can confirm that 38-year-old Shaunna Ruth Wood of Gun Barrel City, Texas was the driver of the silver Kia passenger vehicle. Wood was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries, but was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel at the hospital.

Through further investigation, Troopers determined that Wood was traveling westbound in the eastbound traffic lane of US-90 when she collided head-on with the Red Kia passenger vehicle which lead her to trial and to hire a dui attorney to get the best outcome of the trial. On August 18, 2018, at approximately 10:30p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers responded to a multiple vehicle crash on US-90 in Jefferson County. The crash occurred approximately two (2) miles West of Beaumont.
