Franchising seminar scheduled for prospective business owners

Trinity Valley Community College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Athens Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) will present a franchising seminar for prospective business owners. The class will be held Thursday, August 11 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Athens Partnership Center, 201 W. Corsicana.

For anyone who feels they’re not reaching their potential in their current job, have doubts about their future prospects and feel like it might be a good time to go in business on their own, this free seminar will focus on the opportunities available in franchising, as presented by Bryant Colley of FranNet.
