The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch from 6 p.m. tonight through 6 a.m. Sunday morning.
A strong storm system and a persistent influx of moisture will lead to multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall Thanksgiving evening through early Sunday across North and Central Texas. Rainfall amounts of 3 to 7 inches are forecast with locally higher totals possible through Saturday night. The highest rainfall totals are expecgted to be near the Red River and north of Interstate 20 with lower rainfall amounts south of Interstate 20.
