An East Cedar Creek Fresh Water Supply District customer informed the District’s Office that some individuals are knocking on doors pretending to be with the water company. The impostors told the resident that they were present to turn off the water due to late payment. If the amount presented to the resident was paid immediately they would take the money and not turn off the water.
Your ECCFWSD water provider does not go door to door or by phone to collect any type of amount due. If you are a customer of ECCFWSD, do not fall prey to this type of extortion.
