Details on hospital bricks to be released by mid-February

The City of Athens released the following statement on its Facebook page:

“The City Council awarded the contract for demolition of the Old Henderson County Hospital at their meeting on January 11, 2016. Demolition will begin on January 21st and conclude late-March. The City will make a limited number of bricks available to the public and will release details about how individuals can get a brick from the Old Henderson County Hospital by mid-February. Thank you.”
