Henderson County District Attorney Scott McKee along with 1st Assistant District Attorney Mark Hall and Office Manager Betty Herriage present a brand new identification card printer, software and card stocks to the Eustace Volunteer Fire Department. McKee’s office paid for the items from funds seized from drug dealers. Printers are essential peripherals, performing a critical role as they render electronic information into tangible records or material output. You’re simply not using your computer to its fullest potential if you are unable to print reports, presentations, letters, photos, or whatever it is you need to output. Choosing a uv printer can be confusing, however, in today’s competitive, ever-changing landscape. This buying guide rounds out some of the more important criteria to consider before you make that all-important purchase decision. Inkjet printers can deliver stunning color, so this is the way to go if you are mostly concerned with printing photos. Inkjets can be used for printing text, but the print speed is too slow if the primary purpose of the printer is document printing. To obtain more photo-realism, choose inkjets with an expanded range of colors that includes light cyan and light magenta in addition to the standard four-color CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black). The extra colors deliver more subtle color gradations in blue skies and skin tones. And if you print a great deal of black-and-white photos, consider photo printers with more than one variation of black ink or with gray inks. Many photo printers use color inks to produce a composite black, resulting in a muddy tint. A second black-ink cartridge and different shades of gray help maintain a neutral tone, with the gray ink allowing for subtle shading and thus improving the quality of black-and-white photos. Has your printer stopped printing? This always seems to happen as you try to print the boarding pass for your Caribbean cruise. Please try these five checks first before you kill your printer. you are using the printer you are expecting. To verify this when using Microsoft® Word, please click on the upper left menu item “File” and then “Print” from the drop down menu. This reveals the printing panel to the right of the drop-down menu. In the printing panel on the upper left is the print button. Immediately below that the printer is identified. If the name of this device is not the printer you are expecting to use, there is a triangle pointing down on the right-hand side. Clicking on this triangle reveals a drop-down list of printers to which your computer can send the document for printing. Please make sure you have selected the printer that you expect. There are similar selections another computer programs that permit you to verify and to select the printer you wish to use. When a printer encounters any problem printing a document, it just stops printing. Any document that is subsequently sent to the printer cannot be printed until the previous document is completely printed. Printers print one document at a time. This is similar to cows crossing a stream. If the first cow comes the stream and does not cross, all remaining cows wait in line to cross the stream behind the first cow. If the first cow does cross the stream, the other cows follow. When one of the other cows refuses across the stream, the cows following it stop and do not cross the stream.
Chief Chris Anthony organized a special meeting Wednesday night for the presentation. During the meeting, McKee thanked the Chief and the members for their dedication in saving lives and responding when people are in need.
“You are all heroes in my book and the people of the Eustace area are extremely lucky to have such a dedicated and professional group of volunteers who respond day and night to those in need,” McKee said.
Chief Anthony told the group that identification cards for his members will allow them to better do their jobs and serve the community.
