Payne Springs United Methodist Church, located at 9667 State Highway 198 in Payne Springs, presented a prayer blanket to the members of the Eustace Volunteer Fire Department in appreciation for the selfless contributions they make to our community.
“We want you to know we love you, and we recognize and appreciate the risks you take to keep our families and friends safe every day of the year. This prayer blanket was laid on the altar rail of our church to be bathed in prayer during our Sunday worship. As our pastor and members of our congregation prayed specifically for you, each tied a knot in the fringe. All the fringe has been knotted as a testimony to the love we feel for each of you for the service you provide for all of us,” said Prayer Blanket Ministry Chairperson Priscilla Berry.
