Tuesday, a new governor took the oath of office in Texas for the first time in over a decade. There were parades, BBQ lunch on the Capitol Ground, and a Gala to celebrate the event. The world famous Apache Bells marched in the parade. Tyler Junior College freshman and Chandler native, Morgan Marquess marched with the Apache Bells in the parade. She met with her State Representative, Dr. Stuart Spitzer, on a tour of the State Capitol.
